Gucci Indy Hobo

No matter how you look at it, handbags are an important piece of our wardrobes. This is a fact I am constantly trying to stress to my husband. For the record, there is no such thing as "too many handbags". That absurd idea just doesn't exist. I am always trying to collect more. One of my favorite pieces is my GUCCI LARGE INDY HOBO. I will admit, this one was a bit of an investment, but the leather tassels and metal plates sold me. I opted for the dark brown in their famous Guccissima leather because I wanted to invest in a bag that was classic and iconic.
I love THIS BAG; it gets compliments wherever I go. There is only one small downfall to this bag... it is heavy. With the leather covered bamboo handle, metal plates, and removable strap the bag can feel like it weighs a ton after a long day of shopping. The bag is heavy even before I add my iphone, make up pouch, wallet, sunglasses, and a host of other things I can't leave the house without. Sometimes I do come home with a sore shoulder, but then I think of all the adulation it's received during the day and suddenly I fell all better.

7FAM Denim

Even though the weather has taken a less than spring-like turn here in London, I've still been thinking about my summer wardrobe. This might be a weird thing, but I don't wear denim during the winter. (Is that a weird thing?) Another thing is, I only wear 7 FOR ALL MANKIND denim. (That's not a weird thing.) I have honestly tried several different brands of jeans and I promise you only 7FAM fits me just right. When I say right, I mean I must secretly be their fit model and I don't even know it. Any 7FAM jean in a size 26 fits me perfectly, don't even need to try them on. Most importantly my bum is magical in them. My favorite cut, the Straight Leg. I don't want to sound... nonsensical, but I am convinced they made these jeans for me.
So, I'm thinking I need to pick up a few more pairs. Soon, I'll head down to the Regent Street store and have a look around. They have a good selection there. I will definitely need a new pair of skinny legs in a dark wash and a light grey. I'm flirting with the idea of a high waisted, wide leg option. A cute tee, some wedges, big hair, and lots of accessories could be a retro look for me. Well, I don't want to go too retro...

Gucci Belts

The quest to catalogue my wardrobe continues as I sort through my accessories. I was a bit shocked when I realized I only own two belts! Both Gucci and both black. I need to start thinking and researching some around the waist options. The belt with the gold buckle from Fall / Winter 2007 is useful because it's stretchy and works with lots of dresses. I've even worn it with a couple of one piece numbers. I have at least three pairs of shoes that coordinate nicely with it as well. It was money well spent.

The second belt is actually two pieces; one piece patent leather, the other suede. They interweave and connect in four different places. This isn't a belt of convenience and does require a bit of maneuvering. It was originally shown in the 2008 Resort collection over a short jacket. I purchased it separately and have to admit, I haven't worn this belt much. But, I like the idea of it, so I'll keep it. I'm going to make an effort to try to incorporate it more. I'm thinking I'm going to need something gold and definitely something wide. I don't know how many belts I should own, but I know I don't have enough.
