Burberry Prorsum Fall / Winter 2012

I literally want everything from Burberry Prorsum Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. Everything. There were so many things I loved about this show. I now know there are so many things missing in my life... Mainly peplums and pencil skirts. I am crazy about both, but I fear I won't feel right if I don't acquire something with a peplum this year.  I am not normally a bow person, never really, but the colored belts pulled the look together. I'm all for any accessory that promotes a small waist. The studded leather gloves are going on my list in that yellow color. It's sort of like a honey dijon mustard color... I need them. Almost every look had a coat or jacket that needs to be in my archive. Besides, there is always room for another Burberry coat.

The colors were perfect, the shapes were perfect. There was nothing wrong with this collection, but I did have one question for Christopher Bailey: What was the significance of the owl that made an appearance on several tops? Leave it to Burberry to give you velvet skirts, plaid coats, and a little mystery.

London Fashion Week - Burberry Prorsum Fall / Winter 2012

Yesterday, I attended the BURBERRY PRORSUM Fall/Winter 2012 show across from the Royal Albert Hall. By "attended" I mean I hung outside of the venue, hoping to get some great shots. The temperature had dropped (it was just a little warmer than freezing), but that did not stop the invitees, bloggers, and paparazzi from showing up in their finest. Without an official invitation, you weren't allowed to get too close to the venue, a beautifully constructed white and cream tent with a transparent roof, but I still managed to get a few great snaps. After the show started, I watched a live stream from my iPhone, courtesy of BURBERRY on the nearby steps. Everything in the show, and I'm not exaggerating, was beautiful. More on that later. The finale of the show was easily the best of the week. A simulated thunderstorm aided by sprinklers that showered the entire tent. The models took their last turn under glitter rain and umbrellas. Life in London won't be right unless I have one of those umbrellas...

I loved everything about his outfit. The coat, the tie, the beard, the tattoos... I was strangely drawn to him...

There was a lot of this yellow going around. What was in the Grazia bag?
